The Doctor said....
Broughton Astley needed to achieve, over time, a strong sense of community spirit and participation.
So... the tablet taken was the reintroduction of the carnival. It was revived in 2004 and provides activities for all age groups. It has also created a promotional and funding stream for schools, clubs and voluntary organisations.
Last year the carnival took us all into space, 2007 has a hospital theme. | 
The 2006 carnival parade was headed up by a real space rocket!
