Broughton Astley Carnival 2007 - Hospital Saturday The theme for the 2007 carnival was 'Hospital Saturday', celebrating 100 years since the people of Broughton Astley came together to raise money for the Leicester Royal Infirmary long before the NHS provided free medical care for all. The event opened with the parade and a bed race	Carnival is a key source of funding for many local organisations. There was live music... and dozens of games to play.
